This class was conducted on 2/10 and 2/11, 2007 in Delaware City, Delaware.  This 16-hour

class covered numerous RIT related topics including:

• The need for RIT

• Forming the RIT team

• Pre-deployment responsibilities

• Use of resources during a RIT deployment

• RIT for the Incident Commander

Students put their new knowledge through its paces at an acquired apartment complex.  In

the first half of the day, students gathered some basic skills and team-working concepts to

prepare them for several challenging RIT scenarios in the afternoon.  Practical activities

included:

• FF in a hole

• FF in a confined space

• Wall breaching

• Tag-line search

• Teamwork in the RIT

• Ingenious uses for routine tools

• Drags & carries

• Entanglement

• "Surprise" Scenarios
